The iPOD of ebook readers? And a new ebook store modeled after iTunes

by Brad Isaac on December 30, 2005

I read a lot of ebooks. But I don’t use a dedicated reader, instead I load them into my Pocket PC so I have something to read close at hand for unexpected downtime.

If you prefer a full fledged eBook reader, you might want to wait until after CES this year, because Sony is expected to release the king of the readers there. It will retail between $300 and $400. Sony also plans an ebook store similar to iTunes where you can download and sync your books automatically. via JKontherun
