New TaskBlaze Build Available

by Brad Isaac on January 28, 2006

I was doing some code optimizing on TaskBlaze today and decided to do a new build which would join the last two builds together.  It’s another minor upgrade.  Personally, I don’t enjoy making settings screens because they are boring.  But I put one together anyway so we can make adjustments.  This build simply allows you to choose whether you want TaskBlaze always on top or not.  Whatever you choose is stored in a config file so you won’t have to keep choosing every time.

This will also allow me to add in more options in future releases.

Enjoy!

I believe the posted file is still the old version.

Andy,

Thanks for telling me. For some reason, Typepad isn’t accepting the upload if I leave it named the same as I did before. Tried uploading 5 times and each time it was the old version. So quick rename and it looks like it took ok.

I’d really like an option that lets you “minimize” the window into a stop button, so that I can leave the program as “Always on top” but won’t lose much screen area.

An alternative is to allow resizing of the window again, which I think you fixed with this build.

Neat app, and I’m passing it around. Let me just add my support to an earlier feature request of a “pause” button. For billing purposes, I can only work on one project at a time, but they may not be sequential, and to have to “stop” and “start” repeatedly because of interruptions would end up cluttering the Calendar, and hence losing any productivity gained in the first place. In any case, thanks much!
