The Achieve-IT! State of the Blog Speech: I’m Glad You Are Here!

by Brad Isaac on January 31, 2006

I was pleasantly surprised yesterday when I logged into Achieve-IT! and found traffic had already almost tripled from the day before.    Abe Lincoln’s Productivity Secret post had made it to the front page of Shoutwire, Torrentspy, Lifehacker and StudentTabletPC.

I’ve been on the web long enough to know it’s a spike and will settle down to a lower number and all, but when spikes happen, they are such a thrill.

As you can see from the graph, visitation is way up from just last month.  I’ll take that to mean you are getting a benefit from my work.  And I couldn’t be happier!

Maybe I don’t say it enough, but I am glad you are here.  I really am!  Sharing my thoughts and perspectives on goal setting, productivity, and philosophy is great fun but I can easily get crunched for time.  As I am sure you can relate, I work.  I have a family.  And Blogging can take a lot of time to do.  But I’ve spent 2 decades researching self-development, goal setting and productivity.   If I can share what I’ve learned in a way where it can make a positive difference to your life too then it’s absolutely worth it to me.

Thanks for reading.

Keep up the great work. It’s been of great benefit to me. You are teaching an old dog new tricks. ;)
