It's not greedy, I'm always interested in making improvements and the system tray functionality is something on the list :) Christine and Nicholas,

Thanks for the feedback. It’s not greedy, I’m always interested in making improvements and the system tray functionality is something on the list :)

A beautiful piece of anti-bloatware! I'm passing it around to others. If you're every in New Mexico I owe you a meal. A suggestion--what about some sort of system tray functionality?--As an optional alternative to the transparent button/always on top (which is also a great interface). Excuse me if this sounds greedy! Thank you for TaskBlaze. A beautiful piece of anti-bloatware! I’m passing it around to others. If you’re every in New Mexico I owe you a meal.

When I saw a link to TaskBlaze this weekend, I crossed my fingers and sent it to work. Thank you! It's very easy to use, and I have no doubt that even my less tech-loving staff will find this useful when we do time studies. The transparency option makes it look like my host of widgets that currently litter my desktop, and I'll be interested to see what new things are available as you work on this more. Very cool! I just set all my categories to !Journal. I’m using Office 12, and it’s automatic category coloring makes it easy to see things. I just set all my categories to !Journal.

If it would be helpful I could probably hard code in an option to preface each taskblaze item with a TB: or your own characters that would set them apart from other schedule items. What do you think? A quick tip for any users - I started using TB in the Categories, I'm a GTDer and only use Outlook categories for Task items, anyway, I started using "TB", selected a label color for "Task Blaze Entries" and created a rule to make all entries with TB in the category that color. It let's me quickly see what's a hard appt and what's a TaskBlaze entry. Thanks for TaskBlaze, it’s been coming in very handy.
