Translators Welcome

by Brad Isaac on January 30, 2007

Yesterday, Atschikura wrote to let   be know they translated my article 10 Steps You Can Take To Guarantee Failure into Turkish.   I thought that was pretty cool to have people in Turkey reading my stuff.     I just hope the humor translates ;)

Of there are any   other translators out there and would like to translate the 10 Steps or any of the other articles here to another language, feel free.   Let me know where you’ve posted it and I’ll link back to you at the bottom of the article you translate.

All I ask is you try to keep it true to the original and you keep by by-line at the bottom.

I think offering different language versions of the favorite articles would be helpful to a lot of people who don’t speak or read English.

Thanks Brad for giving credits and link to my translation and blog. However, you said “they translated…” in your post but there is for the moment only one person which is me. I hope I can increase the number of translations from your website. All the best wishes for you. Cheers.

Hi, I put “they” because I wasn’t sure how your name translated into whether you were a man or woman…. Didn’t want to get it wrong.

And…I’m still not sure.

But that’s ok…best wishes to you too. :)

:) It is good to be prudent. I am a man. Atschikura is not my real name, but my nickname. It is the Japanese transliteration of my original Turkish name.

Even you can learn the Japanese transliteration of your name from http://www.rcs.k12.va.us/csjh/japanesename.htm . I have just done it for you. Brad Isaac in Japanese is Isaaku Burado :)

Thanks for clarifying and for my name translation.

I may have to use that for my game screen name. ;)
