To everyone celebrating, I hope you have a happy and safe 4th.
Today is an opportunity for fun. It’s a chance for family.
Have a cookout. It’s not too late. Make memories.
Fireworks aren’t my favorite. But I still go. My ears are sensitive to loud noises. I go more for my kids and the ice cream.
But mostly, I remember…
Today represents freedom. Most who live on this planet lack freedom.
Not only Americans are free. Most who read this enjoy freedom.
You have a choice. You can work. You can sleep. You can brainstorm. It’s up to you.
Freedom is a burden for the ignorant. They are free to do nothing. So they do nothing. They never grow.
January 1st is the New Year. July 4th is the refresher course.
What great timing.
We get a second chance half way through.
Enjoy the fireworks. Let them remind you. Freedom is powerful.
If not used, it is wasted.
