Free ASP.NET 2005 Training Available

by Brad Isaac on December 21, 2005

I get quite a few people asking me how they can start programming. There are a lot of good resources out there I can recommend, but first and foremost I recommend you start with one of the Dummy Programming books (they are better than their name implies). It’s probably the cheapest way to find out if programming is really for you. Those books make it fun and if you have fun, you’ll probably enjoy making a career of it. If not, you are out only $20 or so.

I just spotted another learning opportunity you can take advantage of if you want to do some web programming. MSDN is offering free ASP.NET programming training. Starting with Course 2913, it starts you out creating your first ASP.NET app and ends up covering security, themes and configuration.
