I just caught really cool post over at O’Reilly Radar for small business owners and want-to-be owners. It is the text of a speech by Marc Hedlund called Entrepreneurial Proverbs. In it, he writes out about two dozen of his "proverbs" designed to motivate and inspire entrepreneurs to get off their butts and get to work building a great business. His proverbs cover all aspects of business from products to marketing, accounting, HR and venture capital.
My favorite of his proverbs is:
"Momentum builds on itself — just start. Do whatever you can. Draw a user interface. Write a spec. Make something, anything, that people can see and touch and try. A prototype is worth ten thousand words. One you start moving, you will find that people start to carry you along."
It’s definately one worth keeping and reading over and over. Via Lifehacker
