Here’s A Quick Way To Make Your Diet Fail

by Brad Isaac on April 2, 2007

Wondering why your diets never seem to work out the way you plan? Maybe you started your weight loss plan in plenty of time for swimsuit season, but you just couldn’t follow through. Why are your diets failing? Well, no one can say for sure, but here’s a few thoughts to ponder.

-You’ve chosen a fad diet that ensures you’re going to put the weight back on as soon as you start to lose it.

Remember that the only way to lose weight for good is to burn more calories than you consume, and fad diets just won’t help you do that.

-You don’t take in enough calories to stimulate your metabolism.

Our bodies are amazing machines, and if we don’t take in the right amount of calories, your body will actually think you’re starving it, thereby causing you to retain the weight you want to lose.

-You don’t make exercise a part of your weight loss program.

An exercise program that you’ll stick with is an essential part of losing weight. It helps to burn calories quickly, and all in all, it will make you feel better about yourself.

-You’re not motivated enough to stick with your diet plan.

Motivation is the key to your weight loss solution, and the “Motivate Me” feature of Achieve-IT! Software can make sure you meet your goals, one day at a time.

Don’t start this diet season doomed to failure. Make this diet your last one by achieving your weight loss goals.

I believe that motivation can get people do things at their best. It’s only a matter of having someone or something that keeps us from quitting and gives us the reason why we should continue with our goal.

I know someone who is on a diet for quite some time but doesn’t show signs of improvement. Well if you consider constant gaining and loosing as an improvement, then she did. She use to break the rules and eat anything because her reason is that she works out. I think that her work out is not enough to lose the same amount she gains from eating.
