My buddy Phil Gerbyshak tagged me to share 8 Random Facts about myself. I decided I’d put my own spin on the game by revealing not just 8 facts, but 8 dark facts. So here is a rare, glare into the dark abyss of my soul. Beware, there are no nightlights available
1. I am a true crime buff. I like seeing how detectives weed through a case, gather evidence and break down a perp for a case-making confession.
2. During high-school, I bagged groceries for a local Kroger where my boss was the infamous “Black Widow” serial killer Blanch Taylor Moore. Within a few weeks of starting that job, she hysterically quit to sue Kroger and then manager Kevin Denton for sexual harassment. Years later, I discovered I worked with one of the jurors who sat her sexual harassment case.
3. I personally feel that 1970-1979 was the worst decade in human history.
4. My home office is messy.
5. I often annoy telemarketers in the spirit of Tom Mabe when they call.
6. I owned a 94 Lexus LS400 at the time my grandmother accused me of stealing her 1983 Chevrolet Caprice.
7. My favorite movie is The Usual Suspects
8. Having worked in several restaurants, I will never, EVER return a dish to the kitchen for a do-over. (If you don’t know why, you should!)
I am going to tag friends Chris Brogan, Michel Fortin, Ricky Spears and Leo Babauta. C’mon guys, share your 8 random facts.

Very fun take on this Brad, offering insights never before seen. I had no idea you were a true crime buff, or that you worked with the Black Widow. How fun!
I’m glad I tagged you, so I could learn a little more about you. VERY cool, and thanks for tagging others too.
haha…Thanks Phil, that was fun. Hope the others play too.
Next meme: 8 most embarrassing photos…
Most embarrassing photos? Just look at my Flickr account (http://www.flickr.com/photos/philgerb) for a few of those. I have kept most offline, but a few creep on there from time to time
I’m not allowed by contract with my current blog audience to answer another 8 things post. : ) But I’ll write a micro one in here:
1.) The first really motivating thing I ever saw was LES BROWN doing LIVE YOUR DREAMS for a public broadcasting fund drive. I was so motivated, I got the book and read it. Then went from there to Covey, and the rest was history. I remember lying on the couch watching Brown and thinking, “Well, if he did it, I can do it.” Done.
2.) I love cooking on occasion, and when I do, I often mix spicy and sweet. Few people love this the way I do. Most people are polite about my cooking.
3.) My first dog’s name was Big Ben, a miniature poodle who was born to a show dog family, but would’ve been killed for a white spot on his tummy, had we not bought him off the breeders. To this day, I have no idea why we paid $400 for a dog they were going to kill.
4.) My friends used to play Sim City on the Mac in my basement at my house, whether or not I was home.
5.) In high school, we played TONS of Dungeons and Dragons, and I was the dungeon master. I still think this is why I have to be the project manager, and part of the senior team. I like to run the game.
6.) I can’t remember song lyrics or lines for movies and plays. I can improv like crazy, and can play music by ear. But remember a lyric? Nearly never.
7.) This never stops me from singing and performing.
8.) I’ve done more for my career and my passions in the last 10 months than I had in the last 36 years. I’m 37. : )
There you go. Your very own personal Brad Isaac version.
