Firefox 1.5 beta 1 now available
Posted under Web/Tech
Even though I much prefer the robust and feature packed Operabrowser, the freeware Firefox has a beta 1 out you should try if you are still using those ole’ school browsers like IE or Nescape. Firefox is quicker than IE for page loading and a lot more secure. So if I can’t sway you toward Opera, you might want to run over there and download it.
According to the Office Weblog, there are still some issues with memory leaks and Javascript.

Firefox 1.5 Beta 1 has been released and features a number of new features and a lengthy list
of big and performance fixes. This is beta software though - the Firefox welcome screen you see after you install the
software reminds you of this and the download page cautions you to think about whether you want to use test phase
software or the current official release.
