Twitter Tools

by Brad Isaac on March 25, 2007

Twitter Gadget - TwadgetThere’s been a lot of hype lately about Twitter. I joined a few months ago when Chris Brogan invited me, but I never really got into it. It felt a little cumbersome to use since at the time you could only update and access the service via a web page.

For those who haven’t tried Twitter, it is a service that lets you post a quick message to let your group know what you are doing now…no NOW…I mean NOW!!!

Now, there are some new tools that make keeping up much easier.

Twitteroo – Update your Twitter status from your Windows Desktop: http://rareedge.com/twitteroo/

TwitterVision – This is an amazing world readout of Twitters.   Must see! : http://twittervision.com/

Not sure if I’ll catch the Twitter bug, but these tools certainly make it easier. :) If you give it a try be sure and add me (Brad_Isaac) to your group.

There’s also Twitteroo for Windows, another one of those “update Twitter” from your desktop. Not bad to use when I think about making the effort to make an entry for Twitter.

Hey Joey, thanks for the tip. I’ve updated the list with Twitteroo. It looks like a good client. Trying it now.

Any others I’ve missed?
